I'm making a Gen 2 TCG hack myself.completely overhauling the attacks/HP/types/weaknesses... of each pokemon, custom decks for all opponents, rebalancing trainer cards, custom art mostly for pokemon with the generic sugimori art and the holographics with boring backgrounds, replacing the characters with the mainline ones from Kanto(Red, Oak, Gym Leaders...)
I hate gen 2 but if you don't know already check out tcg neo. it might at least have some art you could use
