>everyone ignores the subtlety that it applies to both Serena and his mom>>29509272>"Reconnecting with lost loves or disconnected family members"This last episode was very well thought out of. The flower's description seems to be imply that, in the context of Amour, not only do Ash and Serena have a thing, but also that he puts her in the same respect with his mother, a family member. All this while still establishing a heartwarming moment where he comes back home after a long journey, to his mother. With this and the off-screen kiss, I'm amazed at how they managed to keep everyone
relatively happy. Having these two different meanings in the flowers and Serena's departure treats Amourfags to a nice finale while not shoving it in not-Amourfags' faces. In any way, we can all agree there was certainly much more thought put into it than any other finale, even if our own personal preferences don't align.
