I think it's cool that the designs are different this gen. Alola's theme is the ocean, and a lot of pokes look like either boat parts (the thing in top right corner) or bizarre creatures you would find in the depths of the sea (some of those are on screen; UBs are like that too).
Point is : Don't start crying cause pokemons don't have an identifiable head and 4 members.
