So my sister actually has been playing through Crystal as of the last few weeks. She's made it up to the Elite 4 and is currently trying to get her Sneasel to level 40. That's not the direct focus of this story though, I want to take you all the way back to Goldenrod city, particularly Sudowoodo. My sister was baffled to why her fire attacks weren't actually hurting it.
>"Brother, brother, why can't I hurt it!" the not very super effective sound after an ember plays>"Well dear, tell me, do you know what its name is?">"Zoooo-doh-wood-oh?" she guesses.>Why don't you try using a grass attack?So she sends out her level 15 Bellsprout and is in shock that it did super effective damage. She looks at me and goes "That's really tricky!"
I'll say she successfully caught the Suodowoodo though. To my utter amusement though, she named it "Three" thinking that's how you spelt Tree. Three is still on her team at the moment, thinking about it gives me a little giggle.
