Given that he doesn't have much time left and has no reason to believe that peace with the rest of world is feasible before it has the technology to BTFO Paradis, Eren has decided to just kill everyone that's not on the island. Trolley problem autism, but with him and his friends/family/fellow Paradisians on the tracks as well.
Almost all characters besides Eren, Zeke, and Reiner are pretty much garbage this arc, by the way. And Eren is the father.
