I agree with this
She carried me through the Cobalion event at just 1/5
she's 2/5 now, both times I got her were dailies and it's been a blessing
I'm glad she got Torterra anyway, Piplup is only cute as its first form but Turtwig is cute and then cool
I have a renewed appreciation for Dawn and I'm considering replaying Platinum as it's been a long time

At the end of the day, I played a Pokemon game, albeit a bad one, so I can't say I completely wasted my money. Maybe if the state of modern gaming was better I could muster up some more criticism, but as it stands the novelty of a new Pokemon game was enough when there's fuck all else to play.

1. Play until you complete the chapter 1 tutorial. This should reward you with a little over 1,300 gems, which is enough to roll three characters.
2. Use these and any additional gift/login gems to either roll for a character you like or the current two strongest (available) Strikers in the game, Olivia and Brendan. There is no benefit to rolling ten characters at once other than saving time
3. If you are unsatisfied with your results go to the options menu, click "delete save data" and start over.
