>>56128830>PlotI feel like Lumiose City is going to be so massive, with so many diverse areas, we won't mind or notice that we're just stuck inside a bubble. Kinda like Indigo Disk.
As we're assisting with the development of certain areas, I can see the problem to resolve being rampaging Mega Evolutions. Like due to some phenomenon, Pokemon are unnaturally Mega Evolving without their Mega Stones, causing them to rampage. We knock them out, causing them to revert back to normal, and fixing their behavior.
50/50 on us getting Zygarde at the beginning or not. I feel like we'll definitely be collecting cores throughout the game. I can see them pulling something similar to Koraidon and Miraidon, where as we collect cores, Zygarde acquires more forms that we use for various actions. Ride the 10% form, surf on a 30% form, fly with a 70% form, etc.
Still unsure if we'll be in the past, present, or future. I can kinda see us going back and forth between the two, too.
>PokemonIf a Pokemon has a Mega Evolution, I think it'll return. Even the ORAS ones. Only exception would maybe be Groudon and Kyogre since those are "Primal Reversions", but Rayquaza I think will definitely play a role, even if its only in post-game.
As far as new forms/Pokemon go, PLA gave us 28 new forms, so I think around 30 will be a fair guess.
Kalos trio will almost certainly get new Mega Evolutions. I think we'll get at least 9 new Megas total so that every type gets at least one new Mega Evolution.
Hopefully Megas don't take away from cross-gen evolutions though. But seeing how many there were in PLA and especially Scarlet/Violet, paired with how well received they were, I'm thinking at least 3-5 new cross-gen evolutions. Regional forms and at least a few lookalikes I can see happening, too.
NEW Pokemon though, there's a good chance we'll see the "A" be related to a new Legendary. Either that, or it's secretly Rayquaza.
