>>55534465>>55534460>>55534533This. Pokémon needs to stop wanting to be something else. Pokémon defines its own genre of monster-catching RPG. They don't have to compete with Zelda, Palworld or anything else. They are their own beast.
Instead of trying to incorporate nonsense that they clearly don't know how to code in (like the open world stupidity), they should just return to making a 90s monster-catching RPG.
Look at what is good in SV/SC and SwSh: it is what they have been doing since the 90s. Every time they try deviating from the formula, it fails.
I think a Masuda return is very likely, or at least a return to Masuda's format.
