>>59014630I haven't really played that many fangames to be a good judge but
>introduction was super fast and, while I don't doubt the story will be a cringefest, it seems a bit more focused on gameplay>lots of QoL I like, from infinite held items to free move trainers>game tells you evolution info and moveset info so you don't gotta search thru some doc online>wild battles give no EXP and can be avoided any time, but you get rewards for completing each area's Pokenav entry>tons of new abilities and moves and rebalances for shitmons (I'm not really into the competitive scene so I dunno what actually changes, but some of these abilities make for fun theoretical teambuilding)>tribal system, where mons of similar tribes give each other bonuses, which incentivizes themed teams which I fucking loveI personally love it so far, it's almost everyhing I wish for in a game.
I don't really care about plot too much and I don't really want some ultra competitive battle simulator: what is interesting about Pokemon TO ME is that it's an RPG with a potentially insane amount of depth in terms of party building, and I enjoy trying to find hidden synergies or putting together teams that "make sense"
>>59019178>Just claim you hate RPGsNTA but I enjoy blobbers and RPGs that let me fuck around with building a wide array of characters strategically: grinding mindlessly so my MC can learn Omnislash v5 and steamroll the game is not what I personally enjoy
