2. I'd be upset, but I'd understand work comes first. As his right-hand woman, I'd likely be stuck working on whatever is keeping him, anyways. I'd probably whine and complain about it the entire time (much to his annoyance), but I wouldn't hold it against him. However, while he'd just want to just forget about it, I'd quickly start discussing days to have a redo date. He'd say to just forget about it, but eventually cave and book a fancy dinner.

There are other pathetic men I like, though. I wouldn't be against the odd pathetic moment when we're alone, but it has to be a rare occurrence.
