But, the series constantly proves that Pokemon are just as sentient as humans and can easily communicate with humans and other Pokémon of drastically different species. Even trainers refer to their own Pokémon as ‘partners’, viewing them as equals and not lesser creatures.
So, is it really bestiality if a Pokemon and a human romantically love each other and are capable of consenting to advances? I get that the people who usually start and post in these threads are semenbrained dolts obsessed with sex they’ll never get, hence their infatuation with fictional creatures, but would it REALLY be an issue in the Pokemon universe if a human and Pokémon held hands in public?
