in the way I care about Serperior or Primarina. It comes across like something androgynous, be it a femboy bunny or a tomboy.
But this is basic character design. Cute things are soft and round. They have big, round eyes and small bunny hands to make them childlike. Even if it's cool because it's sporty and active, it's still cuddly and soft just by virtue of being a bunny and having bunny traits.
