Its fun. The QoL improvements are nice. As is Fairy Type's inclusion.
You can build any type of team you want from very early in a satisfying way.

I am playing normal mode on the Basic Version, not challenge mode, nor on the Complete Version.
So I can't say whether the Challenge mode teams are balanced or fun. Nor whether the Complete version's stat and type changes are fun.
