>>27954452>Military intelligence - I'm thinking steel, but I love sylveon, so idkIt might sound a little "cliche" but if you intend on including your Pokemon WITH your Job than Magnemite or even an Electabuzz might be an excellent choice for you.
Since they're both electric-type they'll generate a constant and reliable source of energy provided wherever you take them so long as they're fed, happy and kept in good health- like wise they're also both sensitive to electrical devices and Magnemite (I'm pretty sure at least) can sense varying electrical frequencies.
Magnemite would be the more convenient one though: lower feeding requirements, almost no grooming needs besides maybe a little rub down and bath time and Magnemite fucking floats so it technically "weighs nothing".
Electabuzz is the bigger investment, but he'd pay off in his own way: more food, constantly having to brush his fur and they require more discipline BUT they're more emotionally responsive, they can be cuddled, they can go through the same physical training as you and they have dexterous hands to help you with whatever you need... Now I'm not saying you should do this, but theoretically an Electabuzz COULD be taught to use a hand gun.
Work aside though if it's just something to come home to there's absolutely nothing wrong with having a Syvleon- they probably have the disposition and energy of a large, intelligent, poodle; though keep in mind those ribbons are SENSORY ORGANS and are made of FLESH not FUR.
