I've been playing stadium 2 for a while. A few tips on little cup round 2: use a strong attacker like Abra just as a glue. Baton Pass is great, I used a combo of Cubone and Ledyba, based on Jolteon+Marowak (the only other option for passing agility boosts is the frailer and psychic weak Spinarak). The AI likes to switch a ton, so a strong pursuit user is recommended. Have SOMETHING to deal with evasion, be it haze or even fucking lock on.
On the standard matches:
Be very careful with who you give your MiracleBerry. This Pokemon should be a set up sweeper who either has to set up in the face of a status user or end up barely missing a KO and being paralyzed. I used an Espeon with Psychic/Bite/Zap Cannon/Growth here.
Zap Cannon is extremely notable because even though I don't use it much, it can hit the bulky waters as well as always paralyze.
Make sure to carry SOME form of stall, you will end up needing something like that.
I used Light Screen/Razor Leaf/Synthesis/Leech Seed Leftovers Meganium for this.
Finally just have a generally strong, bulky attacker. I went with a bitter berry Tyranitar here, because the AI really loves confusion.
Getting continues is an absolute priority to do. Also hidden power can be physical (and up to 70 bp) this gen so remember that.
Finally, the "EVs" that the opponents have is around 120-130 ish, so if you want to be on an even field stat wise remember that.
