First time doing vanilla RSE in a while. Kinda fun until I realised that the only neutral moves I had against Roxanne were Leech Life and Bite. Felt a little bad about grinding to the level cap for the first gym, but then Sylveon was left on 1 hp after all the potions were used on Geodude. Lucario got in a few Growls against Nosepass (status spam was the only way I was gonna win) but died after 3 Rock Tombs. Zydog did the rest of the Growls and a few Sand Attacks but it became apparent after a Harden that Headbutt's pp wasn't going to last. Risked sending in Valiant and hoped I didn't get crit, but luckily got a burn instead so I switched back to Zydog (I'm pretty sure the worst iv zigzagoon). Hopefully I don't have to be as underhanded for the next few gyms.
