No one ever gave a fuck about Audino. It wasn't useful in the games, or the TCG, or did anything in the anime, in fact they could have picked absolutely any other gen V pokemon and they went with fucking Audino.
You know what's worse? They genuinely couldn't think of anything to make it interesting. Slap the fairy typing on it, give it +100 BST, a useless ability, oh look, new mega evolution. Amazing. Actually not amazing, it's shit.
Even the pre-ORAS introduction video couldn't think of anything about it

The sole gen V mega could have been Hydreigon, Haxorus, Volcarona, Krookodile, literally anything that already had potential. Instead it's fucking Audino.
