>>39443306But they are spread out? His warts are in the same places as before and didn't change. They're not even that noticeable, and they weren't noticeable in the original design either. Personally I like the design a lot because I feel like it evokes the sense of an avatar of nature, like a walking jungle that suddenly uprooted itself and came to life to protect it's home.
It has three damn trees on it's back complete with eight vines to guard it, with the central 'tree' topped with a now more grandose signature flower and an extra flower on the front and back with even more foliage covering venusaur, making it look like it's part of a jungle floor. If one sat down in a rainforest it'd blend in completely until it woke up and started to move.
The body also go a much nicer color and it gained even more height. It honestly feels like a jungle-ish version of Torterra, in that both have thriving ecosystems on their backs, and Mega Venusaur's energy gets pumped not into venusaur itself but into it's ecosystem, empowering it further and causing it to flourish even greater than before.
Also since his leaves are now in a cross rather than plus pattern the head flower is there to still cover his head since a bald venusaur would be weird to look at. Removing it would just look off and the cross pattern works better with the extra trees since a plus pattern with the leaves would make it look very thin and silly.
I honestly don't get what's so asymmetrical about it. The only part that isn't symmetrical is the warts since they're spread out, which...well that's a good thing right? I think it is.
