That's more than RBY, GSC, FRLG, RSE, DPPt, HGSS and even oddly Sun and Moon. The number of available Pokémon at time of BW's release would've been even higher at the time of release due to the Dream World. Red and Blue have the fewest of all mainline games (unless you include Colo/XD, in which case Colosseum takes that title), w/ only 124 Pokemon. Yet those games are the best selling Pokemon games.
