Battled a bunch of trainers on and around Cycling road, including Biker Riley, Biker Glenn, Biker Joel, Biker Charles, Bird Keeper Bob, and Bird Keeper Boris.
Arrived at Fuchsia city. Unfortunately, the safari zone was closed down and replaced with a Go Park. God have mercy on our souls.
First in this update was the Fuchsia city gym. Janine's pokemon were all hilariously underleveled (moreso than usual, I mean), and all got one-hit killed by Garvey's attacks.
Went on the road to Lavender town (Routes 15, 14, 13, and 12). Beat Schoolboy Kipp, Schoolboy Tommy, Teacher Hillary, Schoolboy Billy, Teacher Colette, Schoolboy Johnny, Bird Keeper Roy, Pokefan Trevor, Pokefan Carter, Pokefan Alex, Pokefan Joshua, Bird keeper Perry, Bird keeper Bret, Fisher Barney, Fisher Stephen, Fisher Martin, and Fisher Kyle.
In Lavender town, The Radio Tower's operator gave me an expansion card as thanks for restoring the power, but seeing as how I didn't actually get the radio card in the first place, it was pretty useless. There was also a pokemon graveyard at the soul house, where I paid my respects to the former members of this team. Also fought Pokefan Robert and Hiker Jim on Route 10's south side.
On Route 8, defeated Super Nerd Tom, Super Nerd Sam, Biker Zeke, Biker Harris, and Biker Dwayne.
Went to Vermilion city, to go through Diglett's Cave, but the way was being blocked by a snorlax, so I went to Fuchsia city instead to take the sea route south, but that road is closed, so I had no choice but to... Actually get the radio card.
One trip to Goldenrod City later, I finally captured the Snorlax "Reggie", Went through Diglett's Cave, defeated Bug Catcher Rob, and arrived in Pewter City.
Second Gym leader this update was Brock, of Pewter City Gym. All of his pokemon got OHKO'd by Mikhail's water-type attacks.
