They don't want people to use their bots to say "bad things", even though it is all just machine hallucinations and users are required to accept that the information the bots come up with are for entertainment and not to be taken seriously.
It would be better to just make a filter control for the users, with a bunch of user agreements to cover them from any legal backlash, and make it hard to unlock it so it keeps the dumb kids out. Every website does this nowadays, changing what kind of content it shows you based on your user account, history and location even.
But they are cowards, they'll never do it.
