Dex - When Earoquois get old and run out of energy, they bury themselves back into the earth. What happens next is poorly-understood, but a small percentage of Earoquois will reemerge the next Spring as a Cornacopia. Cornacopia are recognized as the leaders of wild Kidnel and Earoquois. Having near-miraculous regeneration abilities, Cornacopia will often break off their kernels, which will develop in time into new Kidnel. However, most of their regeneration occurs at night, during which they fall into a deep, unwakeable sleep. Due to this, wild Cornacopia are often accompanied by a small cadre of Earoquois for protection. According to legend, the soil on which Cornacopia tread are said to magically-enriched, resulting in a bevy of grown foodstuffs six months later. Accordingly, early humans are said to have learned about agriculture from Cornacopia.
