I think my least favorite Kanto pandering is either all the Alolan forms being gen 1, or that too many Megas were from Kanto.
If I had to narrow it down, though, what made me actually /seethe/ was this gen's trailer where they revealed four Gmax forms for gen 1 Pokemon, and I doubly seethed that Charizard had gotten one, since the damn thing already has two Megas.
For reference, I'm 30 and started with Blue, and I think gen 1 is unironically the worst gen. Too many glitches, too many Pokemon that were just "rock with arms" or "ball with face" or "mini kaiju with boobs".
