>>58622698it used to be because it was rich in lore, the art was so good you get lost in it, and the gameplay itself would tell a story but thd parent company Hasbro don't care about soul and only Turbojew short term profit strategies. It's actually sad seeing staff do everything they can to try and keep as much of the spul as they can as the suits do more and more irreparable damage.
Pic attached is a real card the suits shat out to complement the latest set based on Avatar the Last Airbender. Outside of these abominations, the Avatar set had obvious care put into it by the artists and card designers. There's more low effort screenshot cards like this making the overall product look bad and they couldn't even be fucked to use quality screenshots, it's ridiculous
