After leveling up Sutra to be on par with the rest of the team and clearing the stuff opened up by Surf, we moved onto Canalave City. I actually forgot about that Rival battle and dumped off Staraptor in my PC before heading over to Iron Island, and as such almost lost a bunch of Pokemon to his Heracross and Roselia. We made it out without casualty. Missed out on the Iron Island Encounter, but I got an Adamant Riolu (I consider the Riolu as Canalave's encounter since you actually can't catch anything in that city despite all the water); might swap something out for that since Adamant Lucario is tantalizing.
Oh yeah, and Byron went down like a bitch. Blissey Fire Blasted his Bronzor, and Sutra took out the rest of his team without pomp or circumstance.
