... Ironically, I never seriously used one until recently with Mega Blastoise, but boy did it not disappoint. Being a dumb kid, I didn't know that the thing on the cover would only be available if I picked a specific one of the three first Pokemon, so I didn't even get to try it out until Yellow, and by that point the anime had brainwashed me into only wanting to use Charizard. In a way I'm glad though - I think I appreciate it more now that I'm using it for the first time as I'm older despite having loved the design all these years.
Hate that it gets so much hate for not being a bigger Squirtle/Wartortle. They're both great too - all three are, that's the thing. Great line of Pokemon right here.
That said though, I'm convinced Blastoise has never looked as good as in this image.
