>>48754870Well, first run went absolutely fucking horrible, got the worst encounters possible, wiped half my team to Falkner, didn't even try Brock. This run went a little better!
>SammyI managed to land the very elusive and strong Wormadam-Trash. This meant his Kricketune was a joke, and his Volbeat was taken down by softening it up with a few mons so Mightyena could hit the range necessary for Sucker Punch.
>FalknerTo be honest, this went incredibly lucky. His team - Trumbeak, Rufflet, Emolga, Yanma, Farfetch'd-Galar. Furret took the first two down with flinches and Trumbeak's AI being bad, then got a flinch to take down Farfetch'd. On Emolga, I pivoted through to Phanpy to land a massive Flail/Ice Shard combo after some chip with Coba Berry wielding Ivysaur, and Yanma went down by Tanga Berry Mightyena.
>BrockTeam - Hippopotas, Cacnea, Sandshrew, Archen, Lileep, Lunatone. Led with Psyduck to oneshot Hippopotas, then out's Cacnea, so I swap to Wormadam. I try to predict a switch here to Archen, he actually goes Sandshrew, but Psyduck is good enough to take either out...but this time I try to predict a switch to Lileep and go Mightyena, am not punished for it surprisingly and I kill Lileep with a few Bites. Leads back into Cacnea, go Wormadam, this time I correctly predict he stays in and I Bug Bite to kill, out is Sandshrew again. I pivot through Bayleef to get to Psyduck who kills, Lunatone tries to revenge but I land a big Water Pulse...but now I have to sack something to bring in Mightyena safely, Diglett seemed like the best option frankly, and then Archen is taken out by Wormadam making it drink its Berry Juice before Mightyena comes back in, Sucker Punches it to Defeatist to barely live a hit and kills.
And yeah, that's how fights in this game generally go. Pretty fun stuff.
