I've been thinking about this OP, seriously. Gen III was the most difficult Pokemon generation, no question about it. Even Brawly was surprisingly tough without a Flying-type or Sableye for maximum ruse, but Wattson was almost impossible if you chose Treecko at the beginning. Norman is still today the most difficult leader in the series, and I remember it being a pain in the ass to try breaking through the defenses of Phoebe's Dusclops. I'm honestly afraid that the game is going to be nerfed to oblivion, simply because the kids who are used to the easy difficulty level of XY can't handle the challenge that is Hoenn.

I encountered this crap for the first time in Gen V when I was playing PWT Triple Battles with a sand team and I though it was some kind of a fucking glitch:

>Beginning of turn 1, Tyranitar triggers sun
>At the end of turn 1, opposing Victreebel uses Sunny Day
>Beginning of turn 2, I switch Hippowdon in and change the weather back to sandstorm
>Victreebel goes before my Excadrill even though sandstorm is up

I mean, the game is like: "Yeah, I'm going to decide the order in which things happen based on the current events and whatever happens after that isn't going to change my mind so fuck you". This results in absolutely retarded situation like the ones posted above where slower Pokemon attack first and Chlorophyll is active in sandstorm or rain. Is it really that hard to fix? I'm quite sure that this is not how things are supposed to work so why isn't it fixed? These bad mechanics can screw up Mega and weather dependent strategies at a crucial moment and thus result in a loss that shouldn't have happened. Anyone else pissed of by this crap?

Yeah right. And yes, I know that contact doesn't always mean physical but most contacting moves are definitely physical. Grass Knot is the ONLY viable contacting special move. Way too many abilities are here just to fuck with physical attackers and the fact that you can basically render a physical attacker completely useless with one move without having to KO it is absolutely ridiculous. Special attackers have it easy, and GF definitely loves them.

Fuck this shit. I have a 4 IV Kangaskhan with a 3 IV Ditto in the day care and I now have at least half a box full of 4 IV Kangas but not a single 5 IV, which I would have gotten a long time ago if I could breed them without Ditto. RNG is shitting all over me today so I'm taking a little break. I wish I had a 5 IV Ditto but those things are insanely hard to find.

Butterfree / Beedrill:

Volbeat / Illumise:

Durant / Heatmor:
>Durant is fast and good nice Attack / Defense
>The destroyer of Battle Subway

Okay, it's very unlikely but still possible:
