Gen 1: 8/8 Kanto leaders have Kanto aces ( go figure)
Gen 3: 8/8 use Hoenn aces
Gen 4: 8/8 use Sinnoh aces
Gen 5: 8/8 use Unova aces
Gen 6: 7/8 use Kalos aces (despite having the fewest amount of new Pokemon)
Gen7: 7/7 trials with Alolan Pokemon. All 4 Kahunas as well as 6/7 Trial captain have Alolan aces
Gen 8: 10/12 uses Galar aces
Let's face it gen 2 is objectively the worst generation in term of Pokemon designs
