GF weren't kidding, Mega Flygon is hard to design. Here's what I've got though:
- Plays on Flygon's musical side; "The flapping of its wings sounds like singing." Mega Flygon's spiracles exhale air, allowing it to regulate its body temperature and control the sandstorm around it. The air leaving the spiracles sounds sings along with the flapping of its wings, creating a duet.
- Mega Flygon uses the flat end of its tail to beat percussively on the sand, and echolocate hidden prey beneath the surface.
- Design-wise, it calls back to Vibrava, regaining its double set of wings, its shorter antennae and the white "wing-guards" at the wings' base. It also gains Trapinch's enlarged jaw, and the star-shaped marks on its eyes.
- Its spiracles and extra set of arms make it appear more insectoid.
No thoughts yet on ability, but to keep with the sound theme, it'd be a special attacker making use of Boomburst. Could potentially gain Quiver Dance, as much as that sounds like le epic "mega gets Huge Power and Gale Wings and Quiver Dance".
