Tobias' Darkrai tanked a megahorn, recovered its health and then got taken out by a Rock Smash from Gible + a Leaf Blade Sceptile. That's not too impressive.

Tobias' Darkrai was never shown to have even close to this kind of power. And its feat of only using it to solo the gyms and the league isn't very impressive when Alan literally did the same shit in the span of a week against tougher opponents.
