Grass is definitely one of my favorite types, and my favorite of the 3 starter types. There's a lot of great grass types.
Chikorita is my favorite Pokemon. I think it's really cute, especially in Mystery Dungeon.
You can really see how much worse grass starters have gotten over time. My top tiers are full of early gen grass type starters, while my bottom tiers are full of late gen starters (And Grotle, who suffers from a bad case of mid-stage syndrome).
Serperior hate is forced as fuck. I feel like it gets lumped in with Samurott and Emboar when people shit on the gen 5 starters. I think its design is really inoffensive, it's literally just a grass snake, I don't see how you could hate its design, rather than just finding it boring at worst.
Ogerpon goes in Like A Lot, Dipplin and Hydrapple go in Like, Hisuian Voltorb and Electrode go in Neutral, Poltchageist and Sinistcha go in Neutral, Hisuian Lilligant goes in Dislike, and Shaymin-Sky goes in Neutral.
