There's something to be said for the small amounts of lore surrounding the Sevii Islands that makes them mysterious.
>named because they were created in seven days, not that they were seven in number>allegedly a whole bunch of cut islands >Navel Rock and Birth Island are the "extra" islands in the chain, both uninhabited and the sites of weird happenings with Legendary Pokemon>seems like an Orange Archipelago homage at first but is far less populated and has seemingly little to do with mainland Kanto>far away enough that you can only reach it with high speed ferries and can't Fly between Kanto and the isles>is the place where the "new" Pokemon of Johto were first seen emerging, three years before all 100 were discovered>all of the islands have an actual name but are only ever referred to by number except on the signs>all of the routes lead to odd, very isolated islets like Resort Gorgeous, etc>mogs HGSS Johto musichttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvpQsxxzELw&list=PL64A214A67346D664&index=51&t=0shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwBkvnbAZmM&list=PL64A214A67346D664&index=47https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsbIszyJE-0&list=PL64A214A67346D664&index=51There's really something to be said with how these literally where islands integrate so much stuff into them: Unown lore, new species of Pokemon, meteorites crash-landing, Braille puzzles, caves that seem to go to nowhere. It's all very isolated and there's not another place in Pokemon with that atmosphere, in my opinion.
>>44709998>>44710012I think OP is asking why there's seven monuments in the Tanoby Ruins despite the Sevii Islands being a chain of at least nine islands. Which I think is a good question, sure the islands were made in 7 days but the Ruins seem to be laid out purposefully among 7 chambers, why not one big chamber with multiple floors, for instance?
