>>53906453There’s good mons, it’s just that there’s a lot of early level or babymons too, more that most gens, so since it’s not the biggest dex it pulls the powerlevel down a bit.
But still, look at
>Ampharos>Skarmory>Donphan>Scizor>Crobat>Lanturn>Umbreon and Espeon>Tyranitar>Azumarill>Quagsire>Forretress>Wobuffet>Heracross>Blissey>KingdraThere’s still a lot of good stuff there. All of those are solid, usable mons, and some of them are fantastic.
And then there’s stuff like Sneasel, Piloswine, Gligar, and a couple others- who aren’t great as themselves but were later evolved into really strong mons down the line. You still need the gen 2 mons to get those stronger ones
