The helmet on a Glaceon's head is purely for protection. Despite being made out of what appears to be ice, it never seems to melt, and is extremely durable; though it can crack.
Glaceon heavily dislike being in groups, and would much rather prefer living in solitude. Ironically, it is extremely uncommon to ever see a Glaceon without a trainer, as naturally forming Ice Rocks are sparse throughout the world.
