It's that the games couldn't possibly do anything to compel him to play them aside from "reward" him.
This reward though?
It CANNOT be the satisfaction of using a pokemon you wanted,
it CANNOT be the extra type coverage and moveslots you have at your disposal,
and it most certainly CANNOT be that it brings you closer to the main goal of catching em all.
It simply can't.
It NEEDS to be more fucking EXP generated out of thin air. There's just no other way. The ONLY reward that this dude's brain can even register AS a reward is the ability to play the game even less. That's the point of pokemon to a guy like this. To beat it as quickly and overwhelmingly as possible. Pursuing any other goal while playing pokemon, like having fun or trying to win in a specific way, is objectively playing like a retard to this guy.
And the funniest part of all? I think the only reason he spends so much time baiting on here is because the internet doesn't incentivize him to act like a normal person.
