For those that have it, I know it doesn't have a pokedex (bullshit) but I'd like to know what else it DOESN'T have. Does it explain mini-games, post-game, anything else? The lack of such an integral feature as the pokedex seems like a red flag.

today i was able to pick up the guide book that i preordered, and i must say that there is nothing in it. was anyone else disappointed with the lack of post game content in it. the black and white 2 guides had everything in them, but these have nothing.

Now this keeps getting at me that its much smaller then most pokemon guidebooks when released and how its called the official "Kalos Region Guidebook" could this be yet another hint at more regions? I mean why specifically call it the kalos region guidebook and not just the pokemon x and y guidebook? seems kinda strange to me..

What's the difference between the hardback guide and the softcover?

The hardback is cheaper for some fucking reason. The softcover's description is exactly the same as the hardcover's, so there's no explanation as to why one is more expensive than the other.
