As such, this rival would probably be a more helpful rival, helping the player in a lot of double battles against the evil team during the course of the game, but not a super endless happiness rival like Hau. More like a Hugh, where he battles you so you can both know you're strong enough to help each other out fighting the evil team.
Team Breakdown:
>LeafeonPicked leafeon because its pokedex entries states that it doesn't like fighting, but that it will do so to protect its friends.
>Mega GalladeMega Gallade is the most heroic looking of the megas to me, and Gallade in general fits the fighting evil aspect.
>MagnezoneTrapper, in PMD2 its the sheriff.
>ArcanineGenerally associated with cops in the pokemon world.
>DugtrioTrapper. (In general trappers i feel make sense for cops or the like.)
>BraviaryCalled the "hero of the skies" and also fights to protect its friends.
