For me Pokemon is:
>The original 5 2D generations and the good spinoffs from that time period>The original Shudo anime right up to the end of Johto and not a single episode past that>Romhacks galore, I tend to gravitate towards GBC hacks because they tend to have less cringe but I'll play a GBA hack if it's good>Holding out hope for the occasional good release in the modern age like Pokken, New Snap, and Legends>Pokemon GO for socialfagging with friends/acquaintances I'm kind of interested in SV. Really fucking bummed it doesn't have Legends overworld mechanics. But so far it's looking a LOT better than the previous 3D mainline games. I'm absolutely gonna hold off and see what people think of it and see the footage and shit first before I jump in though.
