I almost always play on Set mode, unless it's a blind Nuzlocke or a difficulty hack. I usually have a level limit, but use it more as a guideline than anything else (unless it's a documented run).
Pidove is Fairy/Flying with Gale Wings. That's really good, and it sucks to fight against. Starly is Dark-type now and Taillow is Fighting-type. Each of the trainers in the forest are actually your rivals in disguise, for some reason.
