>>40807800I love Ampharos, he was on my first team of level 100s. I love Gliscor, my first Platinum Hall of Fame has one. Houndoom and Heracross are my favorite Gen 2 Pokémon AND favorite Mega Pokémon, Venusaur is my #1 favorite starter and I have never gone a gen without using Breloom online since BW.
Still this cull fucking EXCITES me, it really does, I am eager to see what teams emerge now that the modern day Pokémon playerbase is FORCED to try out a limited batch of Pokémon. There was something so magical about Gen 5 when everyone's established favorites and signature teams were chucked out the window and we had to rebuild our taste from the ground up, together. Seeing that friend that ALWAYS used Charizard suddenly using Bouffalant every match was an awesome and inspiring time. I think this will be a memorable experience for us lifelong fans, and an important turning point for younger fans that missed that Gen 5 reset.
TL;DR give the new Pokémon a chance
