It's just such a boring Ground type. There are other, better ground types I could be using. More importantly there are faster ground types I could be using and it's too good of an offensive typing to waste on a defensive Pokemon with no recovery.
Did use one during the virtual league in Pokemon Rejuvenation because it was forced onto my team, though. Sturdy + Revival Herb breaks the game but fuck the virtual league. What a piece of shit.

Everyone loves the coverage this guy gets and that awesome Attack stat. I just see a slow, frail attacker with low BP moves relying on fucking Wild Charge for stab.

He's fast and pretty strong, but ZERO COVERAGE hurts. In games where I can give myself HP Ice either through a Hidden Power tutor or through IV manipulation, I still don't bother using it because there are other mons with natural coverage and better abilities like Heliolisk and Manectric I could be using.

Available too late into the game for me to make much use of it. I do plan on using one alongside my Sand Rush Excadrill when the next episode of Pokemon Reborn comes out.

There's probably a ton of other mons I haven't used, even though I've played at least a dozen games with the "no using mons I've used before" rule. I generally gravitate towards mons that are bulky and powerful or fast and powerful, but a lot of popular mons are usually frailish mixed attackers or just generally weak.
