Found him in a raid den, and had accidentally thrown a premiere ball. Was probably gonna take him regardless since he had Technician (had been wanting to get a Scizor with it w/o using the expensive ass ability patch), but then he was Shiny.
Feels like a 'stars align' moment for me. My only regret is that a Dusk ball would have been better, but my balltism isn't that severe.
