>>39713017My idea is that there isn't a traditional evil team. It's more of a main antagonist. His name is Faron. He's a beauty guru and successful businessman with a lot of influence. He's obsessed with beauty like Lysandre but in a more physical aspect.
His motivation is that he sees the player character as a bully. Also there's a prophecy to it as well. A prophecy states that there will be a being of pure ugliness who will steer the region into chaos and destruction and only the hero the prophecy foretells can stop them. He connects the actions of the chaos being with that of the player character. He even assembles some trainers in a pseudo evil team, but they don't have matching outfits. They just believe was Faron believes and want to stop the player. In his last ditch effort he ressurects one of the mascot legends to defeat the player character but this backfires. But the twist end is that Faron's actions actually mirrored the ugly being who brings chaos to the region, but he was oblivious because he wanted to stop the player.
He uses traditionally "ugly" Pokemon because he sees the beauty in natures inherent chaos. Trainer art nor design is mine but there to show what he could potentially look like.
