Welp. It finally happened, I had to dump Greedent. I was a fan since the release of Sword and Shield in 2019, ordered all its plushies from the Pokémon Center, watched every episode thus far of Pokémon Journeys: The Series to see Goh's Greedent, tediously grinded seventy pumpkins to obtain its license during the Halloween event in UNITE and spent all my Aeos Tickets on Item Enhancers to level up the Score Shield just for it, I did everything to support this squirrel. But, now, I’m just tired of it. I’m tired of staying up all night on /pug/ trying to defend all of Greedent's blunders, the countless broken toxic Belches, the way Tencent bent the knee to people complaining about its strengths, and their obstinate refusal to give Stuff Cheeks the real buff it needs. I am tired of always being stressed out, wondering if upcoming updates will sink Greedent by nerfing him too heavily.
It finally hit me, this squirrel has been exposed numerous times as OP and broken in UNITE, so why am I staying up all night, every night trying to defend it? It is time for ALL of us to fess up, Tencent tricked us, they made us all believe Greedent was worth the 8,000 Aeos Coin asking price, well it's NOT and I’m tired of pretending it is, I’ve spent nearly every night over the past six months trying to defend Greedent's inclusion in UNITE, and I am fatigued, irritated and lacking so much rest.
IT’S OVER, I’m sick of it! Azumarill has just been released in UNITE, and we may as enjoy Easter by playing the new Water rabbit. Now I am going to rest real easy and catch up on some essential and much-needed sleep, but not before I put my Greedent merchandise into the garbage can.
