I just finished what I consider the real ending. Snorelax got crit exploded on switching into an electrode in the cerulean cave to save gyarados. My starter Venusaur set up toxic on Mewtwo before dying to a one hit psychic (mewtwo for some reason used recover or some shit turn 1) and Jolteon technically struck the killing blow, but I would say that toxic and Venusaur did the damage. I escaped cerulean cave, flew back to pallet town and now consider the game complete with all 4 legendries slain. Next is pokemon gold
