>leaning into vector art and toolsWhat I meant by that is using vectors instead of raster/pixel graphics to draw. With vectors you're able to create smoother lines and "edit" them to suit your needs.
I myself don't use vectors to properly explain how it works, just not a fan of the style or how it feels to draw. But I suggested it because I know it's completely doable with with a mouse. If you aren't a fan either, then you can still make use of its tools to create better curves and such.
