I just lost my 3DS, but I still have the SD card that my Pokemon was saved on. Has anyone confirmed whether or not Pokemon saved data can be used with any cart? I believe Animal Crossing had some retarded system where the save data was saved on the cart AND on the SD card and they verified each other, so you couldn't pop in your friend's Animal Crossing cart and use it with your save. I certainly hope that I'm remembering something wrong and that this wasn't the case, and even if it is, that it isn't the same with Pokemon. I'm more sad about the possibility of losing my bros and 400 hours of gametime than I am in losing my 3DS. It was the old model anyway, and the ribbon cable connecting the screen to the body was most likely getting worn since my top screen image would get distorted every now and then if I wiggled the top screen the wrong way.
I just hope my bros are safe. I also wish Nintendo implemented some kind of username system instead of this one system download crap where losing your system means all your downloaded games are gone and unrecoverable on a new console. Now I'm just ranting.
