XY had a fantastic series opener of 10 or so episodes and slowed noticeably until the 2nd Gym Battle. I'm fully expecting SM to be similar, build, introduce, and develop the cast for the first 26 or so episode then blast full speed ahead similar to XY. XY became incredible after the 2nd Gym Battle and continued to get better from that point on until the very end.
I'm hoping SM follows it quite closely, although more evenly paced then XY.
>>31589139Right now, with Lusamine and Gladions foreshadowed appearance and Lillie's amnesic fear of Pokemon there is a lot there that needs to be explained and we've basically been told through her episode at the mansion that Lillie has gone through some shit, Gladions with Skull, Lusamine is working at Aether, and some shit happened that made her lose her memory.
Her episode at the mansion although showing us little, gave us a pretty good look at where her story is probably going to go. She has a lot of baggage and is the cash cow of SM. They wouldn't dare waste her with the amount of popularity she has.
That one episode developed her more then any of the other characters in the show so far.
>>31589161Honestly, I love Serena but I wouldn't mind Lillie starting to admire Ash like game Lillie did for Sun/Moon. They don't have to go the full crush route, but having her want to become stronger after watching Ash would be a great way to handle her character.
