ORAS has been my favorite era in all of Pokemon. I sorta got X a little late, but I got so ignited by it that I got Sapphire day 1. I still remember getting Sapphire for my birthday when I was like... 13? Around then.
Anyway it all felt so new yet familiar at the same time.
Gen 1-4 are all classics to me. I'm super eager for gen 4 revisits.
Gen 5 definitely marks a point in the history of the series for me. It definitely felt like a soft reinvention at the time. In hindsight it isn't all that different from early Pokemon. At the time though I was in my late teens/early 20s. Definetly felt more "grown up", just based on where I was mentally at the time. Drinking Steel Reserves, singing Andrew Jackson Jihad and Mischief Brew with some ugly kids. Good times for sure. Gen 5 is special. Not good, not bad, special.
Anyways I really liked ORAS. The meta before Primal Groudon became such a mainstay. Ugh fuck P-Groudon. Kyogre is op too but I can deal with it. Groudon is just something you literally have to have something dedicated to work around.
At least Mega fug is generalized.
Anyway fuck you I love ORAS. Gen 7 has been fun to. I love the whole series and there's nothing you fags can do about it.
